In compliance with
the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about
links and posts on this site:
- My first
priority is always providing valuable information
and resources to help you create or maintain
wellness in your life and I will only link to
products or resources (affiliate or otherwise) that
fit this purpose.
- Many of the
product links on HowardNorthrup.com are affiliate
links of which I receive a small commission from
sales of certain items, but the price is the same
for you. Costs associated with running and
maintaining HowardNorthrup.com have increased, so
affiliate links are a way I help offset these costs.
- If I post an
affiliate link to a product, it is something that I
either personally use, have researched, or would
recommend without an affiliate link.
- I do not
allow advertising on HowardNorthrup.com, so clicking
on any links in my sidebar or to posts within my
site or to non-affiliate link external sites will
not earn me ad referral commissions in any way.

Teflon
Dangers - if your pet bird was sitting on your
shoulder while you stood over your stove and heated
your Teflon pan on High for about three minutes, your
bird would drop dead from the gases (isn't that why
they send a canary into a coal mine before sending
humans?).
At 680°F, Teflon pans
release at least six toxic gases, including two
carcinogens (cancer-causing substances), two global
pollutants, and MFA, a chemical lethal to humans at
low doses.

Computer
Trackball
- For many of us who spend a lot of time on the computer, it's
common to get pain or tightness in the palm, wrist, or toward the elbow. I
realized a few years ago that this is from overuse of the "gripping"
muscles and tendons we use to move the mouse around. After I bought a
trackball to use instead of the mouse, my tightness went away because I just
rest my hand on the trackball and move the ball around with one finger, while
clicking the buttons with the thumb and other fingers. You just unplug your
mouse and plug the trackball into a USB port (one of the small rectangular
ports). Most trackballs come with software that lets you program the extra
buttons for common functions you use. I've found the Logitech Marble Mouse
(pictured below) to be affordable and a good
quality trackball, so I have actually bought two--one for my desktop computer
and one for my laptop. Click the link below to see the Logitech trackball that
I use on Amazon:

Alternative
Doctors (M.D.) - There are a few nationally-recognized doctors whose
recommendations I've been following for up to twenty years. I starting
taking notes in a notebook on all the recommendations they make for various
conditions and have found their advice to be invaluable for people who are
looking to stay healthy naturally instead of chemically.
